How do we transform an unlikely venue, like an abandoned warehouse in the Bronx, into a premium gallery and festival space? How do we bring Bacardi to the forefront of the cultural conversation around art and music? How do we redefine the brand-artist relationship?
Collaborating with Bacardi, Swizz Beatz, and The Dean Collection, Magnetic produced No Commission: Art Performs, a four-day immersive brand experience showcasing art, music, and some delicious cocktails.
This celebration of culture featured musical performances by A$AP Rocky, Pusha T, Young Thug and Swizz Beatz with special guests DMX & Fabolus. The transformed warehouse gallery featured works from amazing artists like Nina Chanel Abney, Ebony Patterson, Jacolby Satterwhite, Rashaad Newsome, Saya Woolfalk, Derrick Adams and Faile. More than 7,000 consumers attended the 4-day experience and 98% of artists work was sold with all art sales going directly back to the artist.
Needless to say, with a multifaceted experience this awesome, the press took notice. The event was featured in the New York Times, New York Magazine and Uproxx to name a few.
