We set up a custom consumer experience for Google’s Android phone in the biggest stage possible: Times Square.
How We Rocked Android Customers like a Hurricane
When you’re competing in the most cluttered possible space, how do you stand out?
We used a brand new HD billboard in Times Square and gave customers a chance to express themselves by creating their own Android character right there in the middle of it. But there was lots more, including 3D renderings of famous Android characters ranging from Andy Warhol to the Naked Cowboy. And the crown jewel, a user experience that put participants 25 feet above Times Square and allowed them to control their own customer Androidify character right in a motion powered game played out right on the big screen. We might be biased, but we think it was quite a bit more engaging than the steaming Cup O’ Noodles sign.
