5 Questions With Anthony Clarizio


To celebrate his 6th anniversary with We’re Magnetic, we asked our Studio Supervisor Anthony Clarizio to reflect on his time with the company and share some of his top highlights and lessons with the team.


What’s one of your favorite projects that you’ve worked on with We’re Magnetic?

It’s hard to choose just one, but one of my favorites would be Bacardi No Commision. It was the perfect mix of art and music and some of the more challenging builds, from creating a traveling house party to completely transforming an abandoned warehouse space into a high-end gallery, carnival and concert space. All events should have a ferris wheel.  


What’s one of your best memories from your early days with the company?

I remember being impressed by our small team working together on new design ideas for Samsung, Verizon, Google, Hulu (the Seinfeld apartment) and of course Facebook.


What lesson has stuck with you from those early days?

We all quickly learned you must always have a rain contingency plan, because it doesn’t matter if you’re in the desert and it never rainsit will.   


Other than our clients, what brand would you like to work with and why?

I like art and creating experiences, so working with a brand like Chanel or Karl Lagerfeld on their runway shows or retail spaces would be amazing because they like to push the boundaries and integrate up-and-coming designers/artists into the things they create.


What would most people be surprised to learn about you?

I’m fluent in Italian and have dual citizenship.
