Screens Series: Gelare Khoshgozaran

In her videos, performances, and installations, artist and writer Gelare Khoshgozaran mines the effects of displacement and the unstable relationship between fact and fiction.

Another Instagram museum, but with a fun twist: it’s set up inside the former studio of Andy Warhol. Visitors will wander through six installation spaces designed by New York-based artists.
Human’s Best Friend
Now – 11/12, West Village
Think Museum of Ice Cream, but for dogs. Guests can take their four-legged friends to an Instagram-friendly pop-up (and those without dogs can tag along as well).
Festival of Disruption
10/13 – 10/14, DTLA
Director David Lynch’s two-day fest includes a live score by RZA, a sound bath from Sigur Ros’s Jónsi, talks from Francis Ford Coppola, Grace Jones, Carrie Brownstein, and more.

LA’s newest Instagram museum, Cheat Day Land, celebrates the snacks and treats people love to indulge in. Fittingly, it’s taking place in the same space that once house the Museum of Ice Cream.
Heist Bank Beer Festival
Sip your way through over 100 brews from across the UK, Scandinavia and Australasia at the Heist Bank Beer Festival, which bills itself as “pure-beer geekery.”
Yayoi Kusama Exhibit
