Food pop-up du jour The Museum of Pizza opens this weekend at the William Vale and bills itself as the world’s first and only immersive art exhibit celebrating pizza.

Genetic testing company 23andMe is hosting a two-day immersive pop-up event called Meet Your Genes, where you can learn about your DNA in a series of interactive rooms.

 

The New York Coffee Festival

The New York Coffee Festival is the city’s flagship coffee event that celebrates the burgeoning specialty coffee scene, featuring tastings, demos, workshops and more.

 

Dessert Goals

Because dessert is always a good idea, Dessert Goals is back for its fifth fest in NYC featuring a tightly curated selection of some of the area’s best desserts.

 

Cartier Carat

To celebrate the launch of Cartier Carat, Cartier is hosting an olfactory journey incorporating all the five senses, plus workshops, scented meditations, and more.

 

Screens Series: Gelare Khoshgozaran

Now – 11/4, The New Museum

In her videos, performances, and installations, artist and writer Gelare Khoshgozaran mines the effects of displacement and the unstable relationship between fact and fiction.

 

Wonder World

Now – 11/4, Soho

Another Instagram museum, but with a fun twist: it’s set up inside the former studio of Andy Warhol. Visitors will wander through six installation spaces designed by New York-based artists.

 

Human’s Best Friend

Now – 11/12, West Village

Think Museum of Ice Cream, but for dogs. Guests can take their four-legged friends to an Instagram-friendly pop-up (and those without dogs can tag along as well).

Festival of Disruption

10/13 – 10/14, DTLA

Director David Lynch’s two-day fest includes a live score by RZA, a sound bath from Sigur Ros’s Jónsi, talks from Francis Ford Coppola, Grace Jones, Carrie Brownstein, and more.

 

Art Night Pasadena

10/13, Pasadena

Explore Pasadena’s underrated bounty of museums and cultural spaces with pop-up performances across the city as well as free admission to local institutions.

 

TRX x Bloomingdale’s

This Navy SEAL-inspired fitness program is popping up inside Bloomingdale’s Century City, offering high-energy workouts to sculpt lean muscle and improve flexibility.

 

Cheat Day Land

LA’s newest Instagram museum, Cheat Day Land, celebrates the snacks and treats people love to indulge in. Fittingly, it’s taking place in the same space that once house the Museum of Ice Cream.

Heist Bank Beer Festival

10/12, Paddington

Sip your way through over 100 brews from across the UK, Scandinavia and Australasia at the Heist Bank Beer Festival, which bills itself as “pure-beer geekery.”

 

Yayoi Kusama Exhibit

Now – 12/21, Shoreditch

The Victoria Miro Gallery will host Kusama’s “The Moving Moment When I Went to the Universe.” The exhibition will feature new paintings, sculptures, and a large-scale Infinity Mirror Room.

Chambers of Flavour V3

Immersive eating experience Chamber of Flavour V3 promises to send attendees through a maze of rooms to feast on culinary curios and cocktails.

This ball pit bar features interactive art installations including a pool of glowing balls, neon waterfalls, and glittering forests.

Austin City Limits
